It was signed by the managing directors of the two countries' stock exchanges on the sidelines of the conference of Iran-Tajikistan Trade Relations which was held virtually, IRNA reported.
Based on the MoU, the stock exchanges of the two countries will share experience and develop cooperation in line with the regulations of their capital markets.
The deal will facilitate bilateral investment opportunities and contribute to the participation of shareholders and traders.
Organized by the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA), the Iran-Tajikistan Trade Relations conference was aimed at acquainting the businessmen and private sectors with mutual capacities and opportunities for joint cooperation.
The event was attended by the ambassadors of Iran and Tajikistan, along with economic representatives and private sectors of the two countries.
Hesamoddin Hallaj, the TCCIMA deputy head for international affairs, Seyedeh Fatemeh Moqimi, TCCIMA board member, Tajikistan Ambassador to Tehran Nizomiddin Zohidi, Mohammad Taqi Saberi, the ambassador of Iran to Tajikistan, and Jamshid Juma Khanzadeh, the chairman of the Tajik Chamber of Commerce and Industry, were among the attendees of the conference.
